NETHERLANDS TO BURGUNDY Via Paris

Photos and maps describe a three-week cruise from the eastern Netherlands to Burgundy, with a sightseeing stopover in Paris. The purpose was to transport a new Linssen 34.9AC charter yacht from the factory in Maasbracht NL to its base at Vermenton, France.

The route followed the Maas/Meuse river upstream through Belgium then along the canals of France to the Marne river and the Seine into Paris. The final leg was the upper Seine and the Yonne river into Burgundy.

They are intended to be used for planning a cruise: they show where you can go and why you might want to go there, with data tables of distances and restrictive dimensions along each waterway. The guides can be used to calculate daily travel estimates. Sources for printed and digital waterway navigation charts are included in the guides.
