There is but one inland waterway in Denmark, the Limfjorden, a route of fjords and lakes crossing the northen tip of Jutland. Inland boaters usually arrive from the North Sea-Baltic canal at Kiel or from the Elbe river at Lubeck, Germany and cruise though the islands to Copenhagen.
