The total cost per item (including shipping) is reduced to US $35.00 for this method, because we do not have to pay credit card processing fees. (CD and Book package: US $50.00)

We have tested various types of bank or wire money transfers and have found that the fees charged to the buyer and /or the seller are too high; the fees are a major percentage of the order cost. However, we have settled on an inexpensive and reliable method: just send us the total amount in US $ currency (cash) by mail. If you do not have US currency you should be able to buy it from your bank at a low fee; by reducing the cost that we charge you, in effect we are splitting the bank's fee with you. (A recent buyer in the Netherlands reported that his bank charged a fee of 4 euros to purchase US$35.00.)

Although this may go against an ingrained habit of not sending cash through the mail, today's mail service is very reliable and safe. If it should become lost or stolen, that is a very small amount to risk as compared to the inconvenience and potential loss due to credit card fraud.
